Eat More Nutritiously And Lose Weight

Though we all like to splurge on bad foods once in a while, we can't do this regularly. Despite this, it's easier said than done as it's always hard to stay consistently disciplined.

This often leads to a situation where we end up weighing more than we'd like to. There are also long term health concerns to consider too, so it's important that we remain as healthy as we can be.

Here are three ideas that may be better for your health than your current food intake. Most importantly, they can taste great when prepared right. By making these changes, you may be well on your way to good health.

I love burgers just as much as anyone, but medical experts say that our intake of red meat should be limited. As a result, I find that turkey burgers satisfy me just as much. If you choose to eat this food, look for one made of white meat.

When prepared right, these can be just as delicious as an ordinary hamburger with just a fraction of the fat content.

We also drink way too much soda. There's no nutritional value to soda, and these are known as empty calories that the body does nothing with. All of this gets stored as fat. This isn't at all necessary, as you could easily replace soda with sparkling juice drinks made entirely from fruit and carbonated water.

Instead of eating fries, why not try some air baked fries or a baked potato? Both of these vegetable servings are healthy and extremely low in fat.

As an added treat, you can always throw a slice of cheese onto your potato, as it'll still be much lower in fat than french fries would be.
