Obesity and being overweight is reaching outbreak proportions these days. Many people need to lose weight. Some people want to lose weight for aesthetic reasons, so that they can look decent in a bikini but other people need to lose weight so that they can preserve their health.

Every body carries their fat stores a little differently. One person may have large thighs and a huge butt but a reasonably lesser upper body and the next person will carry it in the core in the abdominal section. If you carry your fat in your butt and thighs your body is shaped more like a pear. If you carry your fat in your abdominal area your body is shaped more like an apple. The way that you carry your fat really affects your health.

If you are shaped like a pear you have a important health advantage over the people who are shaped like an apple. You may have more tribulations in getting clothes that fit and you may have body image issues but your health is not really too much as risk. Contrary to that the people who hold their fat in their bellies are at threat for important health problems.

Apple shaped women, who carry the excess weight in their abs and middle are at elevated chance for heart disease, diabetes and other health troubles. The fat in the butt and thighs is much more tenacious and it will require much more conscientiousness with dieting and exercise to finally come off.
