Your Wedding, A Great Reason to Lose Weight

By Ricardo d Argence

For most people, the wedding day is the most special day of their lives and both bride and groom like to lose a few pounds to look their best. This special day for both of them may only come once in their lives.

Your desire to shed those extra pounds many times correlates to the time of year in which you plan on wedding. Of course, you may want to look skinnya and hot in your bathing suit, and you may have already lost some weight to do so.

Since you tend to gain more weight in the winter months, ladies planning their weddings from January to June may have to loose more weight than others. You can lose weight for your wedding, though you should be careful that your weightloss should be appropriate to your body type.

Not all women look good as a size 8, some look healther with a fuller figure without being overweight. Make sure you try to get to a weight that is comfortable and healthy for your build.

Most brides have an incentive for losing weight for their wedding day because all grooms want their brides to look like a princess on their big day. When you walk down that aisle, your future husband and man of your dreams is going to beam proudly; thus, you will be able to proceed down that aisle confidently, looking fantastic from your head to your feet. When a weight loss goal is reached all women feel great and a feeling of accomplishment that they were able to reach that goal.

It is not just the bride who would like to lose weight before the wedding day; this can also apply to the groom. There are many men out there who are not immune to being overweight and would also like to lose weight before their special day, wanting to look slim and suave in their grooms wedding attire.

The groom himself will know beforehand if he has gained weight when the waistband on his trousers is getting that little bit tighter. His future wife will no doubt know that he likes a couple of beers with his friends now and again, but she to will like him to make that special effort to shed a few pounds before their special day.

More often than not it is the bride who is the center of attention at the wedding ceremony, but later at the wedding reception all eyes are focused on both the bride and groom. All people talk family, friends about how the bride and groom looked on their wedding day and neither one would be happy if weight issues were the topic of conversation.

To give you a little more incentive to lose those extra pounds for your wedding day is to think about your photographs, as can often be said a photograph never lies. The way you both looked on your special day can soon be forgotten as time goes by, also the way both of you moved around the dance floor. The photographs will be a reminder for you both to look back on forever and in the future your children and grandchildren.
