Muscle Abs

By James Statham

Are you looking to get muscle abs? The truth is this, anyone can get a six pack! What you need to have is the right knowledge and have the dedication needed. You see, alot of what is said about getting rock hard abs isn't true, such as doing crunches. In this article, I'm going to share with you the top 3 myths about how to get a six pack, and show you how to avoid them!

Myth number 1 is that performing long cardio workouts is the best way to burn body fat. The thing is, we all have six packs. To get a visible six pack , you need to burn fat efficiently. However, long cardio workouts could actually harm your chances! This is because these types of workouts will begin to lower your bodies metabolism. Your metabolism decides how quickly you burn calories. Therefore, for maximum fat burn, you need to raise this. The best way to raise this is to perform short, high intense workout sessions. A quick, sharp workout will help not only to build muscle abs, but will raise your metabolism over time!

The next, and most popular myth, is that crunches and sit ups are the best abs exercises to get muscle abs. Nope! To get visible abs, it's all about burning the layer of fat covering them up. Therefore, you need to be doing very intense exercises that will trigger most fat burn. Quite simply, a sit up isn't intense enough. You should be performing compound exercises, such as pull ups and squats. These are what's known as compound exercises, as they are very intense and your body will be burning fat a thousand times quicker than a sit up could!

Myth number 3 is to get your body fat levels down, you need to starve yourself and barely eat anything for a few weeks. Yes because this is clever! This method is far too extreme, and there are much healthier ways of lowering your body fat levels. For instance, foods such as cakes and crisps will do nothing but hinder your efforts. Cut these types of food out of your diet, and you'll see much quicker results than if you decide not to. Let's face it, diet is the most important factor in achieving muscle abs. Even if you have a great work out routine, you still need to be eating right if you want to get ripped abs.

There are plenty of companies that claim they sell ground-breaking fat burner pills and powders. Most of these are very ineffective, and expensive. You don't need to spend your hard earned money once you have the proper information on how to get muscle abs! - 17274
