6 Week Body Makeover - Surviving the Program

By Perry Simpleton

Sometimes we go through phases where anything we do, we simply can't do it right. This also goes for people who are trying to lose weight. The 6 Week Body Makeover is not an easy eating program but the results are definitely worth it. Here are troubleshooting answers to common problems with the program.

Are you sticking to the program but and cannot eat all of the meals? Do you feel full all the time? This is a good thing! If you are not hungry and sticking to the plan, then the Michael Thurmond program is working for you. Many people think that they need to starve to lose weight. However, this is not the case. If you can, try to eat all of the meals based on your body type.

Many people are impatient and want fast results. However, fast results tend to mean that you are only losing water weight and not fat. Typically, you want to lose about 1 to 2 pounds a week to stay healthy. However, some people lose up to 10 pounds per week on the Six Week Body Makeover. Don't be alarmed if you're not losing this much weight in your first week. Stick to the plan and the weight WILL come off.

Do you FEEL like you lost weight? Does your scale tell you otherwise? If you feel and appear thinner, then you've lost fat weight. Use the scale as an indication of whether or not you've lost weight, but do not let it be the deciding factor. Keep in mind that muscle weighs more than fat and that you might have gained muscle weight and lost fat weight. Personally, I would rather have more lean muscle and shed the fat because I know the lean muscle will help me burn more fat calories in the future.

Instead of weighing yourself, try on your old pants and see if you can fit into them. You have definitely lost FAT weight if you can fit into your old pants that you couldn't wear before. This is the best way to determine if you have lost fat. - 17274
